- BIOGRAPHY -
Eastbourne based Amongst Liars formed in early 2020 and play a unique blend of energetic modern rock.
Critically acclaimed debut album Amongst Liars was released in July 2022, receiving widespread support and play from BBC Introducing, Kerrang! and Planet Rock, with singles A-listed on Primordial Radio.
In 2021/2 they completed two headline tours, supported Theory of a Deadman and did a full UK tour with Ayron Jones, before doing a BBC Introducing Live Lounge session.
2023 highlights included a full UK tour with Theory of a Deadman, as well as recording their sophomore album, By Design, set for release in July 2024. The first single from By Design, called The Shameful, was voted Metal Hammer’s ‘Track of the Week’. They toured across France with Ayron Jones in Feb 2024 and completed a UK headline tour in July 2024, including HMV instore dates in promotion of their new album 'By Design'.
Amongst Liars won the prestigious Great Music Stories ‘Band of the Year 2021’, ‘Album of the Year 2022’ and most recently were crowned GMS’s ‘Band of the Decade’.
